Light up, light up

I've never actually attended a Lantern Festival before so you can imagine the level of excitement when the sms came. Celebrating it at Han Yang's was absolutely luminous.

Yea, I know it is quite odd that we forgot to take pictures of the lanterns itself.. buuuut, it was all there nonetheless. If you've never hung up lanterns during the mooncake festival with a bunch of friends, you should the next time around.

It's funny how something so simple can be so pleasurable.

Initially, we were randomly placing candles on one end of the court. Then someone came up with the idea of spelling out SPM, and of course, we decided to go with that. Yup, so we sat around the candles, took a deep breath, made a unison wish and blew 'em out.

I
suppose it was like a little 'ritual' of ours.

Sitting around and talking aimlessly afterwards felt somewhat relaxing and strangely satisfying.

The whole event was really nicely done. Credit goes to the one and only,

Jacob Ho Han Yang

Here's to a spectacular night!

Hi,

SPM stands for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (or formerly known as MCE, Malaysia Certificate of Education)

Well, you could say it's a final exam we have to sit for during our last year in school.

It acts as a basic qualification to go on to college and so on.
